I have been asked to update a course that is currently in an LMS. The course (6 hours long) was created in Storyline, but the client does not have the Storyline files. I am wondering if it is possible to capture the transcript of the course from the LMS. I can see the transcript on each slide by clicking the player, but it does not allow me to copy and paste the text. The only thing I can think of is to screenshot the transcriptions from each slide and re-type it manually, which will take a very long time because the transcripts are very long on each slide, requiring scrolling. Thank you in advance for any ideas you might share.
While this approach may be equally time-consuming, you could also film the entire course (using a product like Camtasia, probably) and then recreate the text manually on your own time. Or subcontract that work and bill the client for the additional time/resources to capture the course content.
