Change squared player corners back to rounded

I've recently been experimenting with using gradient backgrounds for the HTML page. I've succeeded with this, however, the player now has squared corners rather than the normal rounded corners. The rounded corners are still there, but there is another color, making it appear square. What can I do to change the corners back to being rounded?
