Changing Web Object link without republishing

Sep 04, 2014

Inside my standard Player template, I have a custom Player Tab (called Help) that is set to Lightbox a slide. On that slide, I have a button which triggers another layer which contains a Web Object. This web object is set to display a web page from another domain. It is not showing this page since our move to a new server. I imagine since our new server is now secure (https and the page I've linked to is not secure (just http:) this is why it won't display the page for the user. Is this an accurate assumption?

If so, to get around this issue, I have re-created the page I originally linked to and uploaded it to our new secure server. My question now is how can I avoid re-publishing all of my courses which use this standard player template of mine? Back in the days of Articulate Studio '09, I could easily modify links in the content by opening up the presentation.xml file, saving the changes, and overwrite the old file on the server. Is this still possible some way with Storyline or do I have to republish?

Thanks!
