I can't seem to get one of the player options (Notes, renamed Transcript) to go away even though I've unselected it in the Player tabs. I'm attaching 2 images - one with the player tabs settings (Transcript unselected) and the player preview displays correctly, and the other is what the file looks like when published (Transcript is still visible). Am I missing something?
open your story file in Story view and check each slide's properties - one or more may have the notes (transcript) option ticked or you may have made the change and not saved the player options.
if you open the project and select story view you will see the slide properties panel in the bottom right where you can see the options selected. If you want to make bulk changes you can select multiple slides and do it there

Hi Wendy,
Thanks so much! I didn't realize the individual slide settings could override the player settings.

Glad you got it sorted - good luck with your project Angela.
Hello, is there anyway I can force the Player defaults? There are so many slides in my story file and checking each slide takes long time...

I see, I can select multiple slides and select "Player Defaults" which is faster. Thank you very much!
