Copy and Paste Multiple Triggers
May 20, 2012
I know that the best way to do this is to create a slide and copy and paste it instead... but I am in a case where the layer has all of the triggers and I want to move them to the main layer too. All items are on both layers.
The only way I can see to achieve this is to copy and paste each one from the layer to the main layer. However, I have about 100 triggers running on this one layer and I am getting a little lost as I can only copy and paste one at a time. The scrollbar containing the triggers keeps resetting and.. well it's tricky.
I know that this many triggers might seem a little insane but I am working with progress bars and scenario completions where I have... just a couple of, variables hanging around.
Does anyone know a way of copying and pasting multiple triggers from one layer to another? I'm scared that human error may creep in to the project otherwise...

Hi Martin,
Sorry it has taken so long for someone to get back to you.
I found one thread that said it wasn't possible to copy and paste multiple triggers at the same time. He had a workaround though that you could use.

This tutorial should help you also.

And because you said you were dealing with variables and the triggers associated with them.

You may have already seen these or figured out a workaround yourself. If you could post your solution if you have one that would be appreciated.
Hope this all helps,
Adrian
