I've put together a few small courses and they are not sending completion, based on the number of slides viewed. To test this, I created a bare bones 4 slide course. This also does not mark completion. I've attached the title and the SCORM conformance test log to show the lesson status remaining as incomplete.
What am I doing wrong? It has to be something simple.
Thanks Wendy, but for this issue is not LMS related. The log indicates that completion is never sent, it tells me that no LMS will ever mark it as complete. This conformance test needs to be correct before I can test on an LMS.
sorry I can't help - I don't understand what you mean that it's not an LMS issue. How are you testing conformance that it never completes? Interested to know what that means.
I saw the same thing as Wendy when testing through the SCORM Cloud. You may want to test it there and take the SCORM logs to your LMS team for troubleshooting.
I can see in the ADL SCORM conformance test log that cmi.core.lesson_status is never set to completed, yet on ScormCloud it is indicating that. This is very odd. I have used the ADL suite for years as a testing tool and a very accurate one.
Thanks again, I'll put it on the LMS and hope it does the same.
We do recommend using the SCORM Cloud for testing content, as it is the industry standard for testing. Glad it is working there for you. Hopefully your LMS team can get this sorted out for you.
