Course not functioning properly in Chrome
Feb 26, 2019
We have a standard code of conduct course that we have been using for almost 2 years. Recently we have had issues with the course, where certain objects (in this case the "X" to close a layer) are disappearing from the course shortly after displaying.
We have another course where this type of thing has been happening as well. What's weird is that while the object (in this case "X") disappears, it is still clickable.
It is only happening with Google Chrome. We have tested it across browser versions but cannot find any commonalities there. For example, I am using Chrome Version 72.0.3626.109 and it works fine for me, however we have learners calling in using that same version and they are running into problems.
I have attached a video showing the issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is happening with all of those buttons. In some cases, if you shrink the window the x will reappear. It's just weird behavior that is causing learners to call in looking for help.
Thanks Matt, but I am on the latest version of SL360. I tried updating, but no updates are available. I just tried republishing this course yesterday in the latest version to be sure. The issue persists.
Thanks for reaching out to our support team, Greg.
I can see that Michael is working directly with you to understand and help you out.
I'm very keen to follow the progress of this issue, I have having the same trouble in my SL360 module. A 'click X to show layer' button disappears for some users, although it it still clickable if you know where it is.
Hi Ellen,
I took a look at Greg's case and it looks like he's still working with Michael on this and we're waiting for a copy of the .story file.
If you'd also like to share more details with our Support Team they can take a look at your file as well. Let me know if you reach out to them and I can follow along in your case to share updates here.
