I have a course with a custom button that allows learners to email support. The support guy has asked if I can customize the subject of the email that pops up. I used to be able to do this in Presenter/PowerPoint with a mailto:email@email.com?subject=thesubject but it doesn't seem to work in Storyline when I publish it.
Sorry about that D - with our new site launch we've had some indexing occurring in the background and search has been a bit trickier. It should be back to normal shortly - and then search should be much improved. :)
Glad you found this and that it helped you along the way though!

Here you go Ethan - instead of using the jump to URL/file action, use "send email to", and this will support the custom subject line.
Worked like a charm! Thanks as always
It's taken me about 3 days to find this post - I've been trying to find some help on customizing an email using the trigger - this is very helpful!
