Data Entry and format changed letters
Jun 07, 2019
Hello there!
My name is Nutsa. I am working on my first elearning course.
Have a question about text entry field. On my first slide of the course, learner is asked to fill in her/his name, so that we can personalize the course. But later on when other slides address to the learner their name appears on a slide in a different format. Some of the letters are bold, some of them not, some of them are bigger some of them smaller and so on.
Here are the files below that shows how it appears when I preview it and the .story file.
Is it happening because of Georgian font?
Thank you

Hi Nutsa,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing along with an image and a test file.
I published your course to LMS and I'm not seeing the same issue you are reporting.
Take a look at my published output here. Are you seeing the same issue? If so, what browser are you viewing the content in?
Hey Leslie,
No, I am not seeing the same issue, It is probably because of the font I am using.
I use Chrome
Hi Nutsa,
What do you mean, 'the font you are using'?
I published your course as it was sent to me. Were you using a different font prior to sharing the file that was causing the issue?
Hi Leslie,
I mean, I use corporate font that i need to install. So when you published my course probably text font changed into default one. I think that why the issue disappeared.
Hi Nutsa,
You mentioned using the Georgian font, but when I opened your file I saw the prompt for missing fonts that appear to be your corporate fonts.
If you're able to share those font files with our Support Team they can test further using the same exact setup you have.
I'd also suggest checking the first option in this article if learners are seeing the wrong fonts in all browsers but it's appearing normally to you during the preview.
Hello Ashley,
Unfortunately I cant share the font. But i will have a look of the article.
Thank you very much!
