Delay Object Triggers?
Sep 04, 2012
I am wondering if there is a way to delay the clickability of an object until after audio is finished (using Storyline). I have a slide that provides a brief overview of a topic and then allows participants to click on different objects or words to gather further information. I do not want participants to be able to click on those words until the audio is finished, otherwise the audio will cut off as soon as a click is made.
Is this possible? Any help would be great!

Hey Kylene,
The easiest way to do this is to: Set the default state of the button/object to Disabled (or hidden) and create a trigger that will 'Change state of object when media completes'
Or you could create an object off frame (like a shape) and set the shapes time to the same time as your audio and create the same trigger 'When Squares timeline ends, change state of object to normal'

Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
I just overlay a transparent shape and set its timeline to the end of the audio
