Disabled and Visited States

Hi there,
I am having an issue with some of my buttons. I would like the buttons to be disabled until the timeline on the slide ends. After the timeline ends and I click on a button, go to another slide and go back to the slide with the original buttons, the visited state is not showing up. I've tried adding a trigger for this as well and it still doesn't work. The visited state works just fine if the initial state is Normal instead of Disabled.
Does anyone have any advice?
I have attached the story line file I am working on.

Hi Joanna!
Welcome to Heroes! It looks like you're 99% of the way there - all you need to do is adjust your Slide Properties to 'When revisiting: Reset to Initial State'. Give it a shot, and let me know if that works for you!
Thanks for responding Alyssa!
When I do that, it goes back to the disabled state until the timeline finishes again. I would like to be able to go back to the same slide and see the visited state. I have attached a snippet of the example. On slide 1.2 it is in the original disabled state. When you click on a button and return to the page, it goes to the disabled state again. On slide 1.10, I set the initial state as normal and when you return to a slide after clicking on it, it turns to the visited state of gray. Is there a way to do this on slide 1.2 but still have the initial state be disabled?
Hi there Joanna! Thank you for that clarification and for the updated file. Now I understand what you're looking to do. It sounds like you'll need to use a combination of variables and triggers to achieve this, so I'll leave it to the community members to provide some insight on your custom design. Hopefully someone who has used a similar set-up can share the method they used!
Yes please! I need all the help I can get as I am coming up on a quick deadline.
Members, if anyone can help me, please let me know!
Hi Joanna
see attached your updated file.
Hope this helps - shout out if you need more explanation.
Thank Wendy! This definitely works! I think I'll have to spend some time going over it to make sure I understand it before I duplicate it on other slide.s
Thanks again!
