Sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulty with opening your content in Chrome. I can certainly understand that preference.
It sounds like IE may be the default browser on your device. To change this: you'll need to modify the browser type of your choice in your device's personal Settings.
I'm curious when you are seeing this behavior? I wasn't clear on that based on your post here.
I'm experiencing what I think is a similar issue. When I publish content and click "view project" the content opens in Edge. I always copy the link into Chrome as I know HTML5 content doesn't play properly on Edge. Tired of copying/pasting links, today I decided to troubleshoot and found that Chrome is indeed my default browser. Any ideas on how to get content to stop opening in Edge when I click "view project"?
Check out this quick video where I share how you can adjust your Windows Default Apps settings to view the published output in Chrome as a default browser. I hope that's helpful!
Thanks for getting back to me. My issue is actually that my default browser IS set to chrome but content still opens in Edge. Any ideas why this might be the case?
I just popped in to check mine and saw the same thing you are seeing. A quick re-save of Google Chrome as my web browser seems to have done the trick for me, but I'd double check the specific files too. Check out this quick demo.
If that's not it, I'd follow up with your IT team.
