Thanks for sharing those screenshots here. I'm not sure I've seen a double text effect like that before! I poked around in your file, and although I'm not able to explain why it was happening, I was able to make the double text effect disappear by following these steps:
Highlight the title text, and Ctrl + X to cut
Select the text box, and delete. Another text box should appear in it's place.
Select the new text box, and Ctrl + P to paste the text you cut before
Adjust the formatting of the text, if needed
Here's a screenshot of the final exam slide 1.17 after I followed those steps. If you would like to shoot your file to our Support Engineers to investigate why this is happening, you're more than welcome to do so via this form.

I can't open in SL2. I'm assuming this is a SL360 file?
Yes. Sorry. It was one of the templates that came with it.
