Drop box
Jan 17, 2016
Tempshare works great I just tried it , embedded every time. I don't understand do I need to just link the story.html in the folder or the whole zip file. Will drop box allow it to run with all the files associated just by linking the story file. I'm not too swift in this as you can see. Learning a little every day.

To my knowledge you only need to zip the file if you are producing a SCORM package that will interact with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Moodle. The LMS is a custom built database that stores, serves and manages your e-learnings and learners. If you're not uploading to an LMS you don't need to zip.
For the likes of Tempshare, Amazon AWS, Dropbox etc., you sometimes need to re-name your "story.html" file to "index.html". Of course, all the other files must be in the same directory as the story/index one.
Hope this helps.
If you put the published storyline project in Dropbox it should not be zipped and you should link to story.html
Hi Kerry,
Wherever you're hosting the published content you'll want to include all the files associated in the published output folder and place those on your server or within your LMS. Likely using the "zip" option from the publish successful window and then placing the entire zip file in your system.
