Duplicate Numbers on Sequence D&D

I'm having a bizarre problem that I've run into.

I created a drag and drop sequence question with 10 options and added some background color. Upon previewing the slide, the numbers duplicate themselves. This doesn't show up while I'm in design, only in Preview (see image below).

The numbers that appear are darker and moved up and left. Any thoughts on this?

That's strange. If you remove the fill behind the interaction, the duplication of the numbers goes away. While not an ideal solution, you could just remove the fill, draw a box and place it behind the interaction.

Thanks Steve. Your idea worked.

I have a colleague who is doing some Storyline 2 testing. He said he would replicate my situation to see if this is would be a bug in the new version as well.
