Dynamic Overview

This might be a reach however I have an overview map (i.e. Candyland). As the user progresses the user can click on this overview button to view a separate slide which contains the map.
Is there a way to create a dynamic viewer to show where the user is. (i.e a "You are here" sign on the map) Like you are at the mall, therefore you can see different areas based on whatever slide you are.

There are many ways to do this. See attached one option that uses a custom variable to indicate the current position. Based on that variable, the state of a pointer on the lightboxed map is changed to show the current location. Hope that gives you some ideas.
Very cool, Michael. Tx for sharing that story. So easy once you see how it's done!
Thats perfect! How did you create the lightbox with that map icon in the button left corner? I don't see any triggers for it?
Hi Mike, the Map icon button and its trigger sits on the Master slide.
Another awesome example, thanks for sharing Michael!
