Is there a way that a text entry box will recognize the return key when someone is entering text and writes a short line and then hits the return key and keeps writing? On the text entry boxes in my course the box only keeps recording the type as long and the writer does not hit the return key.
Hi Sylvia! You'll want to make sure your text entry field is tall enough to accommodate multiple lines of text. Here's some more info on how data entry fields work!
Thank you Crystal. I will read the info, but my text box is almost a full slide in height and width and still it only captures one line of text if I hit the tab or enter keys :(. I'll go read the info.

You might be able to do this by using a web object as your input box, and then send the value of the input box to a Storyline variable.

Thanks Michael. I will have to look into this. Variables and I are still on an "acquaintance" level :}
If Crystal's info doesn't work out, let me know if you would like me to look into this for you.
