There is an issue in the tempshare.articulate.com website. When you enter a .zip file, an error occurs on the website. Thus, unable to load publish material to the tempshare webiste.
I report this earlier and I don't know anyone saw the post or not. So I posting as a separate posting.
This is the error I got:
Message:
Object doesn't support this property or method
plupload.full.js Line: 2
Code: 0 Char: 26965
URI: http://tempshare.articulate.com/public/plupload/js/plupload.full.js

Gary

Thanks for the heads up. I'll forward the thread to one of the devs and they can look at it.
Which browser are you using? I just uploaded via three of the browsers and it works at this end. (links expire in 10 days)

Tom:
I just click on your 3 links. The first 2 links opens up on my IE 8.0
The 3rd one (IE) didn't work for me !
Gary
Interesting. 3rd link works in FF, but not chrome.
Can someone help me with a work around for the tempshare website.
I have access to a website that requires login. I copies over all of the files from publishing my presentation.
I copied the folder Mobile and its content, the folder Story_Content and its content, and all the regular files (for example story.html).
My website give me the ability to copy the link of story.html and I tried using on my IE 8, and nothing work like when I run story.html on my directory.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong ?
I will eventually need to do this without using the tempshare wesite. The tempshare is a great way to get started, but its has an error for my IE 8 (until its corrected).
Thank You,
Gary
Hello Gary,
You need to move the entire published folder to a webserver. Then you can create a link from the story.html. That will give you a URL which should be something like http://...........story.html
I put the published folder name on the website. Lets call this published folder "xxx output". Inside "xxx output" folder I have all the content of folder "mobile" and "story_centent" and the other 5 regular files.
I went to the website and ask to copy the link to "story.html" and it comes up with something like this:
http://www.xxxxxxxxx.com/view/?bfw5gnl22y0r214
When try to open story.html and I only see a blank page and nothing else.
Any suggestion for me ???
Thanks,
Gary
I have been tryig what Tom post some more. It turns out that the website generate a link that is encoded with the story.html. I am also have to get the URL and filename path too.
When I post the URL and filename path "http://www.xxxxxx.com/file/bfw5gnl22y0r214/story.html", it has if I use to download the file story.html
Do I need to set something special in my website to allow it to work correctly???
Thanks,
G
I just determined that my file server doesn't allow linking and that is why I see the download window.
