are you zipping the published folder from within the Publish Window? or are they trying to zip from Windows Explorer? If the latter that may throw an error. If not, you could try testing in Scormcloud (industry standard LMS) if it works there, then it may be a setting in your LMS that needs tweaking.
That’s fine as long as you are working on the file locally and publish and zip locally before you upload to the network drive- how did you go with Scormcloud?
You could try logging a case with Articulate Support or if you like you can share the source file here on the forum and someone can try to publish it for you see if t makes a difference.
You are definitely selecting LMS in the publish window and not Web?
have you tried creating a whole new project file and importing your current file in, resaving as a different name, publishing and zipping to see if that makes a difference.
Sorry to hear SCORM Cloud caused you some delay too, David. If you run into that again, don't hesitate to let our team know. If you can share your .story file with us or even the published zip folder we can take a look at uploading it into our SCORM Cloud account to test as well.

Hi Wendy,
Thank you for getting back to me. We are zipping the folder within the publish window. We will try testing in Scormcloud and see what happens.
Thanks
Hi David
just checking you are working from your local drive and not a network, external or USB drive - that can sometimes cause issues as well.
Hi Wendy,
we save the zip file on a network drive to allow our LMS team to be able to access the file to then upload to our LMS.

was getting the same error message. we have spoken to the developers of our LMS system and they cannot open the file.
we will need to look at the file and seeing what is corrupting it. by any chance, would you know any way of doing this?

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for this. I have logged a support case this morning.
Thanks, David, if you have the case number I'm happy to follow along!
HI Ashely,
the case number is #01286860. they have advised to upload to Scormcloud which I've attempted to do but the site just sat there loading.
Hey David
have you tried creating a whole new project file and importing your current file in, resaving as a different name, publishing and zipping to see if that makes a difference.
Hi Wendy,
We tried that and it worked fine so thank you for the advice. Also, thank you Ashley for your help with this matter.
Many thanks
Great news David - glad you got it working and all the best with you project.
