This may be basic, but how would I fade in an object while moving across a motion path? I'm just starting out with Storyline 360 and can't figure out a way to add an entrance animation to an object on a motion path. I understand I can add a trigger to have the animation appear one after the other, but I'd like the character, for example, to be fading in while moving across a motion path.
You should be able to select the object with the motion path and then select the entrance effect you want to apply. Select the object, not the motion path. I just tried it and it works for me but the fade effect is not very noticeable. Maybe try playing around with the timing of the fade in relationship to the path.

I did this by adding to the motion path trigger a when statement of when animation Entrance completes.
