I am working on a course/project that is quite large (For me/my company, it is a larger course - for some of your Storyliners, this might be a short class...)
When saving, the file size varies greatly from one version to the next with the only difference being I rerecorded the audio on one of the slides. In the new version, the slide audio is about 5 seconds shorter. However, the file size is drastically different between the two versions...
Is this normal?

Hi Eric,
This has come up a number of times, and I have certainly experienced it.
I have never seen a satisfactory answer to this, (one may exist...?), however, it does seem to be "normal behaviour"!

I've seen this too and think it was Brian who came up with some kind of explanation a few months ago. I've no idea what happens under the hood during build, but what I do know is the output almost always ends up being a helluva lot smaller than expected
