When I apply a gradient to a Storyline 360 circle shape, it flattens the right side and bottom of the circle. If I replace the gradient with a solid color the circle returns to its correct shape. See the attached file. The down state of the circle is solid, the other states are gradients.

I took a look at the file, and I saw it while editing, but the issue didn't appear in Preview for me. Have you run into trouble with the Preview/Published versions?

Hi Rick, I opened your file but I am not seeing what you describe, it all looks fine to me.
It's easier to see if you check the states or zoom in. This is what I see.
Note that the Down state (which has no gradient) is fine.
