I had to reload Parallels, Windows, and Articulate Storyline when my computer crashed and had to be reset. I also had to reload the font we use (Trade Gothic). Now when I open one of my existing files (from before the crash), if I select a text box the text is 16 point (which is what it was before), but if I select just a word or a paragraph of the text within the box, it says it's 13 points. If I change any small bit of text to 16 points it gets WAY larger than the rest of the text box (and larger than it used to be).
In addition to working with your zoom set to 100%, you will also need to check that Windows is configured to 96 dpi as explained in this article to (hopefully) avoid this erratic behaviour
THANK YOU!!! That seems to have fixed the problem for me. You have no idea how this has brightened my day! If anyone else is having this problem I hope they see this easy fix!

Ah, yes... the #1 frustration when working with Storyline... text sizes jumping around .
First, make sure your text box is set to "Do not Autofit."
When working with text sizes, set your zoom to 100%.
Those two steps give me the best results.
