forced linearity

Jun 24, 2014

Hello team,

I used a true/false variable to prevent forward progress until my media & exercises finish.  It defaults to false, and changes to true when the slide reaches the end.

It works great at stopping forward progress, but it doesn't work so well when a user clicks "previous" and has to sit through the whole slide again.

Do you have any suggestions on how a user can bypass the above condition if they are revisiting the slide?

That worked, thanks so much!

FYI to prevent confusion from users about the button not working, I added a fake button that starts off as normal state and shows a pop up on a new layer.

The Pop up just says that the button is disabled until the slide is completed.  The same fake button hides the same layer.

Then when the timeline is ended, the fake button state is changed to hidden, and the real custom next button is now normal and allows advancement.
