I used to us Articulate Engage which had templates for creating interactive learning segments which were layered. Now I have Storyline and those pre-builds aren't in there that I can see. Do we just have to build interactions from scratch in Storyline then?
Do you still have access to Articulate Engage? If so, what version? If you're using Engage '09, you can actually import those interactions into Storyline.
If you have the newer version, Engage '13, Storyline does not yet support that content. However, we are working on a free update that will enable support of content created in Studio '13 products.
Now, if you're looking to completely step away from Engage-created content, that's perfectly fine too :) Storyline does include some pre-built interactions, but you can also design your own as well.
There are also a lot of free interactions around the community that you could download and try. They're available on the blog, as well as the Storyline downloads section.
If there's a particular interaction type that you'd like to use, but are unable to find it, just let me know. I may be able to find a freebie that will help :)
