With Getty Images' recent announcement that they are making millions of photos free for online use, I thought I would try to embed one in Storyline.
I originally tried to use the Insert Video from Website command so I could paste the embed code from Getty directly into the dialog box, but I kept receiving a "web page not found" error when I published the course.
So I ended up inserting the URL from the embed code as a web object.
Step 1
Find the image you want on Getty, click on it to bring up the image details, then click on the embed icon.
Step 2
If the Embed code is <iframe src="//embed.gettyimages.com/embed/477064095?et=M9QeboPY9UqSlrbVDRnwAA&sig=Y0K0xLJ50hVNXGlxkxt8NCpu6yqbOvOpPXM-7f55FtM=" width="594" height="465" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>
Then the Web Object is http://embed.gettyimages.com/embed/477064095?et=ZBy7DdoLZkW9JnbBlhrjlg&sig=P6cjViUQWhXYFRrY1kGGhMC-7abc0WeRGBloNSW3Zb4=
I hope this helps and please let me know if you find a better process. Thanks!

There was a similar thread recently, see here for info. Using the embed code works too, you just have to upload the published content to a server and run it from there.
Thanks Michael for sharing the link to the other thread here - interesting discussion and I'll be curious how this all plays out with Getty images.
Thanks Michael! I should have known running it locally was causing the problem with the embed code.
