I'm not sure that I ever tried to do that with update 4 - but could you explain a bit more about what you're trying to accomplish with a hotspot in a hover state? Is it connected to your other thread here with the hover state not restoring on the mouse leaving?
thanks for your fast reply. A attached a sample file to demonstrate the problem.
I wanted to build a pop-up window with a hyperlink in it. To get sharp text, I use a image instead of text. To create the link a hotspot would be the best solution. But I can't insert hotspots (anymore?).
In the meantime I found a workarround: I create the Hotspot on the main-layer and copy it into the state.
Thanks for sharing the file here. I'm glad you found a workaround - and my other suggestion would have been to create this hover state with a hyperlink as a layer instead of a state. It looks like you can't use any of the interactive elements within a state such as the hotspot.
