I have two buttons on screen and when visited it takes you to a layer. Each layer has a back button that goes back to the main screen. The hotspot over my next button only works if you don't visit those two buttons. I have the hotspot showing the whole time on the timeline and I do not have any variables assigned (anymore) that you must visit those two buttons before the next button is active. Any ideas on why I can't get the next hotspot to work?
Update: It seems that when my published file is opened in Chrome (story_html5) it doesn't work. I tried the story_unsupported file and it worked. Any ideas? Is there a browser issue?
Are you viewing the published output by uploading it to your intended environment or testing it locally? If the latter, you'll want to take a look at ensuring you're testing by uploading to a web server or LMS as described here. If you have Flash disabled in Chrome it'll default to opening the HTML5 output as long as you included that as a publish option.
