Hi, I need help with this. It is a simple setup. I put a rectangle shape over a word. Then I added a trigger to change the state of the shape to hidden whenever the mouse hovers over it. However, the shape just kept blinking when hovered instead of getting invisible. I am using the latest version of Storyline 3. Is it a known bug? Appreciate any help!
Thank you for the help! I just cannot figure out why the shape won’t be hidden when hovered over with static mouse. In comparison if I touch and hold the shape on my touch screen it worked. So it seems it only works for touch but not for mouse. Any thoughts?
Thanks bud. I tried the same thing in Storyline 3, and it worked great. But I still need to create a hover state for the shape. It will save me this step if I can just use Hover to hide and leave to restore trigger. It might just be a bug I guess. Anyways, thank you!

I would imagine the trigger fires everytime the mouse moves, so it's hiding the object all the time.
A much simpler approach would be to add a hover state of the object and set the transparency to 100 % and it will simply dissappear when hovered.
Hope it helps!

It works like a charm -> no triggers, only a hover state:

Have you removed the old trigger?

Yes, you need the hover state and zero triggers. I don't understand what's the problem. :)
Thanks bud. I know how to do it now. I am just obsessed with why "Hover to hide" trigger does not work with mouse 🙂
Sometimes it's better to accept the SL's behaviour and move on. 🤣
You are so right!! Thank you so much!
