How to add storyline presentation into a webpage (joomla)

Hi All, I remember back a while ago I saw a really nice website where someone had incorporated a storyline presentation into the header area of their website and the rest of the page was standard html

Any idea how to do such a thing? I would like to have an interactive presentation in the home page of my site from which the other areas of joomla would be accessed.
