How to allow user to select their own topic navigation?
Mar 03, 2017
I'm new to Storyline but have used Captivate. Can someone show me how to create a choice screen with icons that allows the user to select course topics (scenes) out of order and return to the choice page at the end of each section, now showing a check mark next to that section indicating that he/she completed that section? My goal is to allow the user to cover the topics in any order. When all topics are completed I want to make a "Print Certificate" button visible. I have dig into the videos and blogs but have not seen anything like this. Maybe I am searching for this help using the wrong keywords. If you can point me to an example that would be fantastic. THANK YOU!

A long time ago I had done an example to a somewhat similar question, see here and attached the source file. Instead of the summary screen you could create a button as well. Hope that gets you started.
Michael,
This is exactly what I want to do. I don't see the source file, just the
Link to run it. It is beautiful!
How did you do this?
The source file (Seven_Topics_-SL1_MH.story) is attached to my earlier post
Michael,
The source file was PERFECT! Exactly what I wanted. Thank you for sharing with me. It was a BIG help!
