I am trying to recreate 'Guide to Blended Learning' and am stuck on slide 3. I have trial-and-errored motion path options to make the lines grow out of the circles, but it didn't create the same effect as in the example. How do you make a line appear to grow out of an object?

animations would only make the objects enter from outside of the slide.

Hi Janet,
I would use the entrance animation of Wipe, then set the Effect Options to From Left. Adjust your duration, and you'll have it.
