how to publish and view a course

Did the publishing tutorial several times.  Saved the course as a Web and then tried it as a Word document.

These are not interactive formats.  How do I view an interactive Course that will be placed in a folder on a company shared drive?   How do I email the interactive course for someone to review it as an interactive presentation?

Please advise.  I'm really new at this.
