How to put Storyline file into a web content management system
Jan 07, 2013
Hi,
I know this is a long shot, but was hoping I could find some answers about how to put my published Storyline file into a web content management system (like RightNow, for instance).
I tried viewing the presentation in Chrome (by putting the URL I got when I published my work into the browser bar), and then obtaining the source code. I then proceeded to put that into the system, but it did not work. I realized that I wasn't given the right (or the entire) code by Chrome.
Is there a way I can get the code, and copy and paste it into my web content program so it can be viewed on the web?
Otherwise, how can I get my file on a website? I thought I could save this as a flash file, but it's proving to be harder than I thought.
Oh and just FYI - the website I want to put this file on gets A TON of traffic each day...is Storyline an appropriate software for a website with this kind of magnitude?
Any and all feedback is appreciated, thanks.

Hi Hillary and welcome to Heroes,
The quickest way to make your story viewable from a CMS is to use an iframe (after you uploaded your output folder to the webserver).
The following html code should do it.
Hope it helps,
Alex
What about for Articulate Presenter? I have a company that wants to use the Web files I published, but does not have access to the server. They need to upload the Articulate files to their content management system.
Thanks!
Did you find answer to your query?
Hi Sadhana,
