HTML5 element controlling storyline
Oct 05, 2020
Hi,
I'm creating an interactive element using Unity3D which can output in an HTML format which in turn can be embedded into Storyline.
The interactivity I have created works without problems but I would really like to "know" when the activity has been completed so I can trigger something in Storyline.
My Question: Is there a way to send a message/trigger/anything from the HTML5 element to the "course player" so I can trigger a button or advance to the next slide?

Thanks for the fast reply, I'll see if Ican make this work!
Okay so yeah, that worked like a charm!
so your link: https://www.rabbitoreg.com/2016/11/05/javascript-storyline-two-way-communication-via-iframe/
in combination with the documentation on Unity: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/webgl-interactingwithbrowserscripting.html
Made it work in 10 min.
Thanks!
