In SL3 I am trying to add a Hyperlink to a specific heading on an external web page. I used Right Click on the heading and select "copy link to highlight". This seems to work fine and I can test it successfully in the hyperlink box. (can't test in preview)
Then in my published course run from our LMS the link just goes to the top of the web page and not the required heading.
I understand you'd like to hyperlink to certain text on a web page. I'm curious if this issue is happening with this specific web page only or with multiple sites. If you'd like to share the page you're attempting to link, I'd be happy to do some further testing on my end! you need a link with a included anchor link (-> <url>#<ancor>)
there is an addon for chrome to find this anchor links
