Have just discovered now that slides with screen recordings cause a Storyline error warning, slides without recordings copy and paste OK. Well and truly stuck, the project is now at a standstill.
Jeff can you do it the oposite way, save the file with the screen reocrdings as a new name then import the other project into it?
Hi Phil, don't think it would work as I have a few projects mainly made up of Storyline screen recordings with the captions all typed and sorted. It is all part of the same large project teaching how to use a particular software. Plan was to do in sections then bring everything together later.
Sorry for the trouble. When attempting to cut, copy, or duplicate a screen recording slide in Storyline, you may encounter an error similar to the following, or you may be prompted to submit crash statistics:
"Articulate Storyline has stopped working"
Please review the following article for more information:
No news on our next update release, but Storyline will automatically check for updates if this feature is enabled. (To verify if "Check for updates at startup" is enabled, click the round Articulate button in the upper left corner, and select Storyline Options.) You can also manually check for updates at any time by going to Help > Check for Updates.
I'll also make an announcement here in the forums the moment the update is released. Thanks!

Hi Peter, thanks for that, looking forward to the next update.
Any idea when the next update and fix will be?
Sorry, Jeff.
