In google crome the text is not displayed properly it gets cut in some instance. The same text is displayed properly in IE. See the screenshot for reference.
Can you please suggest any solution to fix the issue as the course should be seen properly in IE, Crome and Firefox.
What update and version of Storyline are you using? Also have you published for Flash and HTML5, and do you know which you're viewing? Have you uploaded to a web server or LMS to test out the published content? All these additional factors could be playing a role in what you're seeing as we'd want to ensure you're on the latest update and viewing the content in the intended publish environment to ensure it's working as expected.
If you'd like to share a copy of your .story file here we're happy to take a look. You’ll want to upload the .story file here (which is the file prior to publishing) using the “ADD ATTACHMENT” button at the bottom of the forums reply window. If you’d prefer to not share in the public you’re always welcome to share with our Support Engineers here. They’re available 24/7 to assist!
Thanks for confirming you're using the latest update and testing it in the intended environment. If so, and the text is still misbehaving then we'll definitely need to take a look at the .story file to see how it's looking on the slide and then how it's behaving upon publish for our team as well. You can share it privately using that link I included above and our team can always send an NDA if needed (everything is kept confidential among our staff as a general rule).
If you share here in the E-Learning Heroes community it is public, so that file is accessible to others in the Community. I have downloaded your file to take a look so if you'd like to remove it you're welcome to do so.
Thanks again for sharing your file here. I took a look at slide three and it appears to be a video and not just text boxes on top of content created in Storyline. With that type of set up I can't see the original text boxes and how they were created and what could be cutting the text off. Are you able to take a look at this video outside of your course to see what it was set up with?
Yes - that way we can take a better look at what may be happening. Can we get that started in a Support case for you for a bit more of a deep dive into the content? You'll want to open a Support case here and share a copy of your .story file and the Flash (.swf) file in question. You can link to this forum discussion so that our team is aware of the work already done and I'll be able to follow along in your case.
Just following up and it seems that Miker was able to confirm that the Kannada fonts/text were not supported in Storyline so he's passed this information along to our team to take a further look and get any more information. We'll keep you posted here in the community and as a part of your case once there is additional information to share.
