We have a bit of JavaScript for a project to track analytics. How do I integrate that JavaScript snippet—given to me by a programmer— into my Storyline applications so that it runs when a Storyline tutorial opens or loads? (We tried some things external to Storyline, but they changed the sizing and othe features, so no a good option).
It’s only when the course starts—we just want to see how many times it is accessed/opened.
I didn’t know anything about this trigger, but just looked at the options. It looks like I would set the trigger to have the script run right at the timeline start, and have the trigger on the splash/opening page of the tutorial. I suppose I could put it on the second slide, just to know they actually “started,” but I think I understand the principle.

Would you like it to run on each slide on only when the course starts? Have you tried adding the code to an Execute Javascript trigger?
Hi-

I’ll give it a try.
Thanks—
