Inserting Video as a Web Object

I currently am learning to use Storyline 1 and recently had a project where I needed to insert YouTube videos. Based on what I read, web videos that are inserted as Video Objects cannot be viewed on mobile devices. However, when I tried inserting my YouTube segments as Web Objects, they didn't show up once the program was published. I followed the directive to insert http://www.youtube.com/embed/video_id (replacing video_id with the actual ID of the YouTube video) in the URL window, but no luck. Every time I published, a bare page appeared where the video should be. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Did you test locally (on your harddrive)? If yes, then the weblink to the video was likely blocked by your browser's security settings. Upload the published content to some server (or an alternative like DropBox, GoogleDrive or TempShare) and test again.

I just wanted to pop in and welcome you to E-Learning Heroes!
BIG THANKS to Michael. I tried the fix you suggested and it worked great! This is excellent information to know. Thanks also for responding so promptly.
Leslie -- thank you also for the welcome. E-Learning Heroes is a very informative site.
