Thanks for reaching out here! We need a bit more information to nail down the cause of the installation failure. What version of Windows are you using? You can read more about the system requirements for Storyline 2 here. Also, be sure you are following the installation steps as described here.

I have the same error when trying to install studio 360, though storyline 360 installs just fine :(
