Interactive User Guide

Apr 18, 2024

I am looking into using storyline to create an interactive learning guide. The guide is currently in word and pdf and is 400 pages.

Does anyone have an example of an interactive manual or learning guide that they have created?

What kind of "interactive" options do you want?

If the guide is used as a reference, and the "interactions" are merely links between content, I think it'd be better to keep the source in Word and distribute it as a PDF. That's simple to update and share, especially since (I'm assuming) more people have a license for MS Word than for Articulate 360. And I think more people would already be comfortable with navigating and searching a PDF.

If you're looking to turn the guide into an eLearning, there are samples on the Forum of all sorts of interactions. But I doubt there's any one template that would work for all guides. The design and functionality should be developed based on the content.
