IPADs and Drag and Drops

Have a storyline 2 course which includes freeform drag and drop question.
A student has encountered a problem with dragging the boxes to drop areas. She was using an iPad and subsequently discovered that it’s a known problem and you have to use the soft-ended pen in order to make it move.
How do others overcome this issue? Avoid using Drag and drops? Let learners know that there might be a problem and best experience is via desktop?

Hi there Pam!
Thanks for letting us know what's going on. You shouldn't need to use a soft-ended pen in order to make draggable items move on an iPad. Do you know if the student was using Safari in Apple iOS 7 and later? Was it just one student who encountered this issue, or were you experiencing this problem, as well?
Would you mind sharing your file, or even just the one drag-and-drop slide, so I can test it on my end? You can attach it here in the thread by using the ADD ATTACHMENT button, or you can send it directly to our Support Engineers here if you’d prefer to send it privately.
Hi Alyssa
Thanks for reply. I send the file privately via Support Engineers.

My experience suggests it might be a timing issue. The learner has to learn how long to touch so the touch registers to the screen, then the app, then the object before trying to move it.
Hi there Pam,
I see you're working with my colleague Wilbert in your case (01042449), and he's testing your file now. You should hear back from him shortly!
