Javascript calling to and from Storyline
Jun 05, 2016
Hi all,
I have been looking at embedding an iframe into a Storyline module and I want my learner to be able to click on a button in the iframe and have it send some data back to the Storyline file. I want to also be able to get it to jump on to the next slide and or jump to the previous. I know I should be able to do this with window.* or document.* but I have no clue about all the commands that Storyline listens for. Is there a document on line that would have a list of these commands?
I'd appreciate any help including suggested searches.
Cheers
Luke

Just what I needed.

Hi Matt,
As I want to also set and get data from SCORM I was wondering.
Are the lms.API calls being run via a wrapper.js or is the call in Storyline connecting directly to the SCORM API?
Cheers
Thanks again Matt
So glad to see that Matthew has been able to assist, and in case you were unaware, unfortunately, JS is not something for which we are able to offer support. If you need anything further, please reply here and hopefully your fellow community members will be able to help! :)
