Layer Audio
Nov 12, 2012
Hi All---
I have several classes I would like to have a base layer (say with a 3 minute audio), that would refer to 3-4 layers. Is there a way to use just the audio on the base layer and have it go back and forth between layers or does each layer have to have its own audio and go back to the base layer when the audio is complete or with a trigger on each layer. Some layers may only have 10-20 seconds and it seems like a pain to have to cut them all or produce them that way. Thanks.

Hmm, I've only done having audio on its own layer. Seemed easier for me to manage and a simpler solution. I've gotten so good at using Audacity that dividing things up is pretty quick and easy.
Thanks--just thought there may be a simple trigger to pause and move along with layers. Seems to be lots of little things that I don't know so I thought I would ask.
Well, there are triggers to pause/play/stop media and in the properties of a layer, you can choose to pause the playback of the base layer. I just haven't tried them to do what you want.
