LMS and WCAG compliance
Mar 03, 2017
Good morning. I work for a private company who's intending to conform to WCAG requirements for 2018. I've learned that our LMS is not compliant. It seems like an awful lot of work for me to get my courses inline if the LMS isn't. Do you agree?
Does anyone know of an LMS that is compliant or at least conforming? Searches bring up Knowledge Direct, Canvas, TalentLMS, and D2L.
Thanks for any thoughts you can share.

Hey Cheryl!
Hopefully your fellow community members can pop in and share their experience with you! I also noticed you posted a similar question in the Building Better Courses forum - great idea! That way you'll get more eyes on your question. I wanted to link it here in case you get some good responses there. :)
I posted it there and no one "bit," so I thought I'd try here. :)
I am eagerly waiting for folks who have experience/knowledge in this area to chime in. Cheryl have you made any decisions?
We went ahead with a new contract based on a verbal commitment to put it on their immediate roadmap. Hopefully that means we're good to go by the fall.
Which LMS did you go with?
When I say a new contract, I meant a renewal with our current LMS which is BlueVolt.
Thanks!
