We have created a 50 queststion quiz in SL2. Answers are either T/F, Multiple choice, or Select all that apply. We are running into an issue where the user is not making the course a full screen causing a scroll bar on the side. The problem is that user selects the correct answer and then scrolls down using the scroller on their mouse and the answer is changing. Is there a way to set the bubbles for the answers to be the active area and not have the words active?
I don't think I've ever seen this happen and I wouldn't expect it to cycle through the options using the scroll functionality. Do you know what browser the users are testing in? You'll want to confirm their using one of the supported browsers detailed here. It's the browser scroll bar that they users are using to scroll - not a scroll bar you've added to the course?
Ashley, They are using Internet Explorer and Windows 10. If the window is not opened all the way they have to scroll to see the previous and next buttons. When doing this if they use the scroll button on their mouse, it is changing their answer. I am looking for a way to make only the "bubble" an active field on the screen for a quiz.
Do you have a sample file or link I could test? I did a simple test myself in Windows 8 and Windows 10 both with Internet explorer and I tried just scrolling to find the next button and clicking on an answer and then scrolling but it didn't scroll through the multiple choice bubbles on the second slide here. Are all your users seeing this? The scroll functionality of the mouse can be set by an individual user so perhaps they have it set to count as a click?
It is only a few that are seeing it occur. I am going to look into the scroll functionality of the mouse and see if that is what is causing it first. Not all our uses have the a mouse with scroll buttons. Thank you for the help.
