Math Lesson Idea.

I have an idea to create a lesson on decimals. I want to use a slider to have the learner choose the correct place in a decimal. For example, choose the digit in the tenths place in the following decimal; 3.456. How would I need to link the slider to the decimal?
I am excited to discover the slider and the possibility of integrating it into a lesson but not sure how to make it interact the way I want it to.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Hi John,
In the attached example, I have compared the variable associated with the slider (Slider1) to the value 4. If it is equal to 4 when the user clicks the Submit button, the Correct layer is shown. If it is not equal to four when the button is clicked, the Incorrect layer is shown.
I hope this is what you were after, but if you have any further queries, just get back to me here.
Thanks Ned!!
Wow, you didn't have to design that! I really appreciate it! You're awesome!!
I was on the verge of getting it but was a bit stumped with connecting the slider to the place, and correct/incorrect. But I did get the slider position to the Place, after watching a video on Youtube. Baby steps for me... slow and painful!...LOL.
I'll post when I'm done.
Thanks again!!
