MCQ

Apr 11, 2020

Hi, I created an MCQ with a freeform following someone's instructions a few months back. It had 5 questions on one slide and worked well. I want to re-use it but add a sixth question to it. For the life of me, I could not recall how I did it in the first place, so I copied and pasted one of the questions and renamed the button for this new question. Problem is the three buttons for this new question remain on selected state when I click on each of them. Not sure I explained myself properly here ... Anyway, I attached my file. Question 6 is the problematic one. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Christophe,

When you created your original MCQ a "button set" was created for each question. This was either done manually by you or automatically if you used the Convert to Freeform Slide button at the top of the screen. Either way, what you need is to create a new button set as this is what ensures only one of the three buttons can be selected at any one time.

To do this, you need to select your three new buttons, right click, select Button Set from the drop down menu and then create a new set and give it a name ("Button Set 6" to go with your other five sets).

Your quiz slide should now work as you want it to.
