Hi all I know this has been discussed loads but I need a solution.
we used to publish storyline 2 content to out moodle and it looks fine on mobile now with 360 we see huge black bars and it's practically unusable on mobile nothing has changed expect for publishing in 360 - has anyone experienced this and does anyone have any solutions?!
Hi James. I'm sorry you're not getting the output you expected after publishing your course. Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Also, I'm happy to test your file in our instance of Moodle for a closer look. You can share you .story file here using the Add Attachment button in your reply. Thanks!
Thanks for getting back to me, this issue is one that is being discussed a fair bit of the forums e.g here and here
I have attached a test file and published version I uploaded to my moodle instance.
Publish settings are:
and how we see it on mobiles (ios and android)
huge black bars that make using the resource impossible as it jumps everywhere - its fine on desktops
I think its more a moodle issue than a storyline one but I now you did some work with the player before to help in moodle so wondering if anything can be done now
It does look like Moodle is displaying the course in an iframe which seems to be interfering with the responsive nature of the Storyline course? Let us know if you're able to talk with your LMS admins, and if so what you hear back from the Moodle team about this set up!

I would set it so it can only work in landscape from the settings cog above the slide.
You may be better off building in 16:9 for Mobile
Thanks Phil we usually do 16:9 for production files but interesting tip on locking landscape mode will give that a try
